STEPS OF FORGIVENESS
Every experience / event of your life is recorded in your memory somewhere. Trying to forget an event only ends up putting the event further in the subconscious mind (stored as engrams). This in turn will keep creating problems with the physical body by continually releasing chemicals that are inappropriate, thus leading to illness, disease, pain, etc.
The steps to updating a negative subconscious memory / emotion are as follows.
Make sure you do the following steps with true intent / passion / feeling so the body will receive the desired outcome.
Self forgiveness: you must forgive yourself for allowing the feeling / emotion of the event to affect your health. Ex. I forgive myself for allowing (person’s name) to affect my feelings negatively.
Forgiveness of the other person: I forgive (person’s name) for causing the feeling of (whatever the emotion / feeling was).
The other person must have permission to forgive you: I give (person’s name) absolute permission to forgive me for any harm I may have caused her / him. It is not necessary for the other person to know about this step. This means you do not have to go to the person and tell them what you are doing.
Again, the steps above must be done with true intent and feeling. If it is not, you have just wasted your time on this process.
Learn the lesson: Take a look at the apparent negative perceived situation / event that happened and find the positive in it. No matter how bad a situation is, it does have some positive message or meaning. Embrace what happened and learn from the situation, so you do not repeat the same pattern over and over. If the event takes place in the future again, see the good in the situation.
Be thankful for the lesson: Instead of trying to forget a stressful situation, make it a loving, caring, positive learning, living experience. As the lesson is learned and surrounded with love, the interference between the unconscious mind and the hypothalamus (an area in the brain that controls a lot of hormone releases) will decrease. This will enable a healthier body to emerge and healing will come at a much faster pace.
