THE SIX ESSENTIALS FOR RESTORING YOUR HEALTH

 

What you drink:  You must drink clean water (reverse osmosis is preferred).  Flavored water with sweeteners is not ideal either.  Coffee, cokes and tea do not count as well.

 

  • Drink ½ your body weight in ounces.

  • Fresh juice over store bought juice and no more than 20 ounces a day.

 

What you eat:  Ideal is 75% of your diet being fruit and veggies and the remaining 25% what ever else you desire (nuts, grains, lean meats). 

 

  • Don’t eat past 7pm
  • Always start the day off with breakfast (a must)
  • Eat 8-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day (raw is best).

 

What you breathe:  Clean air is essential.

  • Stand alone air purifiers
  • Stop smoking
  • If you can smell it, it’s probably not health

 

How you exercise:  Do at least 3 to 4 thirty minute exercise sessions a week. 

 

  • Walking is an excellent choice
  • Circuit training on weights along with tread mill or elliptical training
  • Bike riding with the Morter March when your done

 

How you rest:  Important factor in the body’s ability to repair and rebuild itself.

 

  • Get at least 6–8 hours of sleep every night. 
  • Restorative poise (15 minute process = 1 hour of deep rem sleep)
  • Meditation CD’s

 

What you think:  This is the most important of all the six essentials.

 

  • Think about what you are thinking about (examine your thoughts)
  • Replace negative thoughts with positive ones
  • Always come from a place of love, grace, happiness and peace
  • Be thankful and grateful for all you have, each and every day
  • Start the morning with positive affirmations.  Ex: I feel great
  • Steps of forgiveness is a must
